About Me:

"Art is my story; design is my voice."

Who I Am: The Journey of a Creator

The Foundation of Creativity

For over 30 years  art teaching , I’ve immersed myself in the world of art and  4 years graphic design, sharing my passion through workshops, live sessions, and social media. My artistic journey began with a love for creating things with my hands—art and crafts that not only expressed my creativity but also adorned my home with a personal touch. Instead of buying decor from the market, I found joy in designing unique pieces that reflected my imagination.

The Shift to Digital Design:

Four years ago, during the lockdown, my creative journey took an exciting turn. With time to explore new horizons, I discovered the vast potential of digital design. Platforms like YouTube became my teachers, offering tutorials and inspiring ideas. I practiced diligently, transforming my hands-on creativity into digital masterpieces. Today, my work blends the tactile charm of traditional art with the limitless possibilities of digital design.

A Love for Stories:

Since childhood, stories have captivated me—whether through books, movies, or cartoons. These tales, though seemingly fantastical, often mirror real life, teaching us about resilience, hard work, and the pursuit of dreams. Behind every story lies an artist, whose imagination brings it to life. This deep appreciation for storytelling continues to inspire my work, reminding me of the beauty and struggles that shape our lives.

Where I Am Today:

As an artist and designer, I strive to bring my years of practice and passion into every creation. Whether crafting interiors, designing digitally, or drawing inspiration from childhood tales, I aim to merge imagination with authenticity. Creativity, for me, is not just a profession—it’s a way of living, learning, and connecting with the world.

My Creative Journey: From Designer to Storyteller
By Sophia – Founder of Sheeba Mansion Library

Four years ago, I began my journey into the world of graphic design. It all started with creating logos using Canva—a design platform that fit my budget and offered the flexibility I needed as a beginner. Over the years, I developed my own unique design style and never relied on copying. Every project was a chance to create something original.

For three years, I worked on Freelancer.com, where I not only polished my design skills but also learned the art of communicating with clients. Although I no longer work there, it was a key step in my growth. I also explored Fiverr, where I found a welcoming space to promote my work and gain recognition.

Beyond design, I always carried a deep love for stories. As a child, I was fascinated by storybooks—their illustrations, the emotions, the fantasy. Being an oil painting artist, I found it challenging to bring every imaginative idea to life using traditional mediums. That’s when I turned to digital tools. Combining my artistic skills with design platforms, I found new ways to express my creativity.

This year, I’ve finally started pursuing my long-time dream—writing and publishing storybooks. It hasn’t been an easy road. I made mistakes, learned from them, and kept going. I now create digital posters, social media content, and even micro-designs for Etsy shops, where I've received wonderful responses. I’ve also launched my own Redbubble store, where I sell artwork and designs connected to my books.

Sheeba Mansion Library is the result of this journey—a place where my love for art, stories, and design come together. I invite you to explore my work, dive into my stories, and join me on this ever-growing creative adventure.

Thank you for being a part of it.
